MGM DINING LTD
Booking Terms
Before making any reservations or purchases on our website (“Platform”), please review these Booking Terms (“Our Terms”) carefully, as they govern your transactions.
If you do not agree to Our Terms, you will not be able to proceed with any bookings or purchases through our Platform.
IMPORTANT NOTICE: Certain sections, specifically “Resolving Issues” and “Liability,” outline limitations of liability. Please ensure you read them carefully.
Additionally, our Website Terms of Use must be read and adhered to. By accessing our Booking Platform, you confirm that you accept and agree to comply with these terms. If you do not agree, you will be unable to make bookings for professional services or purchase products via MGM DINING LTD.
Booking Services
MGM DINING LTD provides an online service (“Booking Services”) that enables customers to reserve and pay for professional chef services through our Platform.
Contracts & Legal Agreements
When you book a professional chef service through our Platform, two distinct legal agreements are formed:
- Contract with MGM DINING LTD – This agreement is between you (the “Client”) and MGM DINING LTD. It establishes our responsibilities regarding the facilitation of your booking and the purchase of any products (the “MGM DINING LTD Contract”). This contract is governed by Our Terms.
- Contract with the Independent Professional – This separate agreement is between you and the selected chef or service provider (“Independent Professional”), covering the delivery of the professional services you book (the “Professional Services Contract”). This contract is subject to certain provisions outlined in Our Terms, including the cancellation policy detailed below.
All professional services listed on our Platform are offered on behalf of Independent Professionals. MGM DINING LTD acts as a commercial agent, handling bookings and payments on their behalf. As such, while we facilitate transactions, we do not assume liability for the quality or execution of the services provided by Independent Professionals.
Professional Services & Product Purchases
If you purchase Professional Services or Products using an MGM DINING LTD Gift Code, please note that our role is limited strictly to facilitating the booking process.
Once we receive your full payment, your financial obligation to MGM DINING LTD for that booking is considered settled. While we may assist with certain practical matters on behalf of the Independent Professional providing the service, we are not legally responsible for the execution of the service itself. This means no contractual obligations exist between you and MGM DINING LTD regarding the actual provision of Professional Services by Independent Professionals.
That said, MGM DINING LTD remains accountable for fulfilling its obligations to you as outlined in Our Terms, which are legally binding. Should you have any concerns, complaints, or refund requests, you may contact us directly at [EMAIL]. We serve as your primary point of contact for all customer service inquiries.
Eligibility Requirements
Our Booking Services are strictly available to individuals 18 years and older. If you are under 18, you are not permitted to make a booking through our Platform.
Your Consumer Rights
As a consumer, you are entitled to legal protections regarding Professional Services that are not provided with reasonable care, skill, or as described on our Booking Platform. You can seek guidance on your rights from organizations such as Citizens’ Advice Bureau or Trading Standards Office. Nothing in Our Terms will override these legal protections.
Booking a Professional Service
When you select an Independent Professional from our Platform to provide a culinary service at your specified location, you are making a confirmed booking for that particular service.
Once your booking is finalized, you will receive a Booking Confirmation from MGM DINING LTD, which serves as your receipt. If you require a VAT receipt, please refer to the “Prices” section below.
At the time of booking, you must provide your payment details, and the full booking amount will be charged immediately.
By proceeding with a Booking, you agree to:
✔️ Pay the full Booking Price in advance
Ensuring Access & Service Conditions
As the client, you must ensure that the Independent Professional (provided through MGM DINING LTD) has access to the Designated Premises—a suitable space where the service can be performed. This includes providing necessary facilities such as adequate lighting and heating. Additionally, you should take reasonable measures to ensure the health and safety of the Independent Professional while they are on-site.
Please note that images of dishes displayed on our Platform are for illustration purposes only. The final presentation of food prepared by the Independent Professional may vary.
Website Access & Fraud Prevention
As outlined in our Website Terms & Conditions, we reserve the right to withdraw website access or cancel bookings if you fail any credit or fraud prevention checks or if we have reasonable suspicion of fraud or money laundering associated with your account.
Pricing & VAT
When you book a Professional Service through our Platform, you pay a single price to MGM DINING LTD (the “Booking Price”). We then compensate the Independent Professional for their services (“Professional Services Fee”).
Pricing varies based on the Designated Premises (your specified location for the service), and all prices displayed at the time of booking are final.
VAT Information:
- The Independent Professional is responsible for handling VAT on their service fees.
- Since most Independent Professionals are not VAT-registered, we do not charge VAT on their services.
- While we cannot issue a VAT invoice for the full Booking Price, we can provide a VAT invoice upon request for the 4% Booking Service Fee that we charge.
Payments & Processing
As an agent for the Independent Professional, MGM DINING LTD collects payments (or arranges for a third party to do so on our behalf). Once we receive your payment, your financial obligation to the Independent Professional is considered settled.
All payments must be made through our website via Stripe (or an equivalent payment service) (“Payment Facility”). While we strive to keep this system available and secure at all times, we cannot guarantee uninterrupted service, nor can we ensure it will always be free from errors, delays, or security risks.
Important Notes:
- Payments may take time to process due to banking or card network delays.
- Temporary access restrictions may occur due to maintenance, system updates, or new feature rollouts.
- While we take reasonable security measures, we are not liable for unauthorized third-party access to your payment information unless negligence on our part is proven.
Your Responsibilities as a Client
In addition to the obligations outlined in Our Terms & Conditions, you must:
✔️ Provide complete and accurate information at the time of booking. Failure to do so may result in rejection, cancellation, or incorrect delivery of your booking.
✔️ Disclose any health conditions, allergies, or special requirements that could impact the service. If you fail to provide this information in advance, neither MGM DINING LTD nor the Independent Professional will be liable for any resulting injury, loss, or damages.
✔️ Exercise caution and common sense when interacting with Independent Professionals, just as you would when engaging with anyone unfamiliar to you.
Booking Cancellations & Refunds
Your ability to cancel a booking depends on specific conditions. While you may not have a statutory right to cancel, you do have certain contractual cancellation rights, as outlined below:
Full Refund Eligibility
You may cancel your booking and receive a full refund of the Service Price (the Booking Price minus any Product costs) if you cancel via our website:
- At least 7 days (168 hours) before the scheduled service time (“Booking Time”), or
- Within 10 minutes of booking (“Grace Period”).
Non-Refundable Cancellations
If you cancel less than 7 days (168 hours) before the Booking Time or after the Grace Period, MGM DINING LTD is entitled to retain 100% of the Booking Price as a Cancellation Fee.
We will also retain the Cancellation Fee if you cancel in any way that does not comply with the cancellation policy above.
The Cancellation Fee is necessary to compensate the Independent Professional, as short-notice cancellations prevent them from securing alternative bookings.
Cancellations & Exceptional Circumstances
If a Cancellation Fee applies but you need to cancel due to genuine reasons beyond your control (e.g., a guest falling ill), we may, at our absolute discretion, either:
- Waive some or all of the Cancellation Fee, offering a full or partial refund, or
- Issue you a voucher for use toward a future booking with us.
In cases where we waive the Cancellation Fee, we act as an agent for the Independent Professional, who remains the primary provider of the Professional Service.
Refund Processing
- Any applicable refund will be processed as soon as possible.
- Refunds will be issued via the original payment method and typically appear on your statement within 5–10 business days.
Peak Day Bookings
Cancellations for peak day bookings (such as Christmas Day, Boxing Day, New Year’s Eve, January 1st, or any additional peak periods we define) are subject to a separate cancellation policy. No refunds are available for bookings on these dates.
Discount Codes & Referral Program
From time to time, we may offer promotional codes and referral codes (“Codes”) that can be applied toward Professional Services.
General Terms for Codes
- Codes are valid only for the period specified at the time of issuance.
- Codes have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for cash.
- Codes may not be:
- Used for commercial purposes.
- Sold, transferred, distributed, or posted online (e.g., public coupon sites).
- Promoted via search engines.
- Combined with other discounts or offers.
- Each Code may only be used once per person and is subject to specific terms disclosed at the time of issuance.
Referral Program
From time to time, we may issue referral codes for customers to share with friends and family. These codes allow new users to receive discounts on their first booking.
Intellectual Property
All intellectual property, including but not limited to the MGM DINING LTD name, logo, trademarks, service marks, graphics, and content associated with the Booking Platform, Bookings, Products, and Professional Services belong to MGM DINING LTD or its licensors and are protected by law.
Nothing in these Terms grants any rights to use, reproduce, or distribute our intellectual property.
Resolving Issues & Complaints
As an introducer connecting clients with Independent Professionals, MGM DINING LTD is not liable for the fulfillment of any booking or the quality of Professional Services. However, we strive to assist with dispute resolution where possible.
If you experience an issue with an Independent Professional:
- Attempt to resolve the issue directly with the Independent Professional.
- If unresolved, contact us at ‘EMAIL’ by 12:00 PM the day after the event.
After this deadline, we will assume that the services were performed to your satisfaction, and the Professional Service Fee will be released to the Independent Professional within 48 hours of the event.
How We Handle Complaints
Upon receiving a complaint, we will:
- Contact the Independent Professional on your behalf to seek resolution.
- If we determine that a refund or compensation is appropriate, we may, at our sole discretion:
- Issue a credit note for use toward future bookings.
Important Note:
We take complaints about our Independent Professionals seriously and will do our best to assist. However, since we do not provide the Professional Services directly, we are not obligated to issue refunds or credits if you are dissatisfied with the services provided.
Liability & Limitations
MGM DINING LTD serves as an intermediary connecting customers with Independent Professionals and facilitating the sale of certain related Products from Retailers. We are not responsible for:
- The fulfillment of bookings.
- The quality or performance of Professional Services.
- The delivery of Products by Retailers.
Independent Professional Standards
All Independent Professionals onboarded onto our Platform undergo an assessment process, which includes:
✔️ Reviewing relevant experience.
✔️ Ensuring possession of a Hygiene Awareness Certificate.
However, you acknowledge and agree that we:

- Have no contractual obligations in respect of the Professional Services provided.
Legal Limitations of Liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits:
- Liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
- Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation by MGM DINING LTD.
- Any legal rights that cannot be lawfully excluded or limited.
We are not responsible for errors or service failures resulting from incomplete or inaccurate information provided by you.
If MGM DINING LTD is found to be negligent or in breach of a contractual obligation, we will only be liable for foreseeable losses—those which were reasonably predictable at the time of booking.
Liability & Limitations
Loss or damage is considered foreseeable if it is a direct and obvious consequence of our negligence or breach of contract, or if both you and we would have reasonably anticipated it at the time you agreed to our Terms.
However, we do not accept liability for the following types of losses, even if they are foreseeable:
- Loss of income or revenue
- Loss of business
- Loss of profits
- Loss of anticipated savings
- Wasted management or office time
Additionally, we are not liable for any costs, losses, or damages that arise from:
- Your misuse of the Booking Services.
- Your misuse of the Professional Services.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms or terminate access to the Booking Services or Professional Services at any time with notice.
Before making a booking, please review our Terms to ensure you understand the most current version. If you do not agree with any changes, you must stop using the Booking Services and Professional Services.
